Audio Network Strengthens U.S. Operation With Key Appointments

Company will have its biggest ever presence at NAB 2014, including competitions to win a trip to Abbey Road Studios and a Fender guitar

Image of Ian GinsbergIan GinsbergAudio Network, the international music company specializing in music for film, television and video, has further strengthened its U.S. operation with the promotion of Ian Ginsberg (pictured) to the role of VP of sales. The company also has made a number of key appointments to its U.S. sales team and copyright department. This recruitment drive coincides with the continued growth of its music catalogue with a spotlight on “authentically produced” American music, including a series of collections specifically produced for the U.S. market.

Ginsberg joined Audio Network in 2011, and has a wealth of music industry experience having worked across major labels at Columbia and Epic Records (both part of Sony Music) and as an artist manager. Having previously held the position of head of U.S. sales, his new role covers all sectors including broadcast, commercials, film and corporate, and positions him to work more closely with the other functional teams of Audio Network.

The U.S. sales team is bolstered by the appointments of Moira McCarthy, manager of music licensing; and Tristan Efremenko, manager of music licensing, who will focus on the advertising and corporate sectors – both key areas for growth for Audio Network. In addition, Michael Matosic joins the New York team as U.S. copyright manager.

To further emphasize Audio Network’s commitment to the U.S. market, visitors to Stand SL9327 at NAB 2014 will enjoy the company’s biggest and brightest presence yet at the show. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet Audio Network’s global representatives, and can enter a competition to win a tour of the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London. The company will be hosting a drinks reception on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. where attendees also will have the chance to enter a prize draw for a Fender guitar.

Audio Network also has confirmed that it will be a Gold Sponsor at the 13th annual Las Vegas SuperMeet, which begins at 7 p.m. on April 8 at the Riviera Hotel & Casino.
