Litepanels Displays New Light Sources at NAB
By Monica Burres
A provider of LED lighting for production and broadcast companies, Litepanels has debuted Sola 9 and Inca 9, two new LED Fresnels at the 2014 Nab Show. This new collection of Fresnels is intended to cover broadcast studios, episodic television, and feature film production with full LED solutions, making it much easier for companies to one-stop-shop for their lighting solutions.
Stronger and brighter than the average 1K Fresnel, the Sola 9 and Inca 9 are ideal for studio/remote locations, only drawing 189 watts of electricity. Also, the two newest Fresnel additions to the Litepanels company feature years of color accuracy so there is no need to replace lamps on the regular – ideal for production companies requiring efficiency while maintaining a budget.
Remote-controlled dimming and focusing makes these lights easy to control for multi-tasking filmmakers. The Sola 9 and Inca 9 have been proven to generate a return on investment within three years or less of the purchase date, the company says, proving their worth to those on a budget, or to those who are ready to invest in a lighting system that can be counted on.
