Markee’s Tom Inglesby on the Future of Storage

On July 2, 2015, Markee Editor Tom Inglesby spoke with Digital Production BuZZ’s Larry Jordan and Mike Horton about the future of storage for independent productions. This well-regarded podcast covers filmmaking, video production, post-production, and distribution world-wide.

In the interview, Tom talks about the Creative Storage Conference, the changing needs for the industry where media storage is concerned, the differences between storage needs for dailies and post-production compared to archiving and distribution, and much more.

“The digital revolution in filmmaking has created a number of storage problems,” Tom said. “How do you handle the dailies, for instance? What do you do about the file transfers and workflow—all the things required in the new digital age for filmmaking?”  See the full conversation below.
