Road Tripping With FootageBank
FootageBank is taking a road trip this spring and wants suggestions of what to see — and film — along the way. Their crew is loading up a minivan with HD cameras to spend six weeks driving an estimated 5,000 miles to collect stock footage for their large library.
Hitting the road to capture images of the great open spaces — while they are still open — as well as small towns and great cities of the Heartland, the company’s top cinematographer is looking for ideas. Where would you suggest the trip take that minivan? Have you needed an elusive shot that you can’t afford to fly out to get? Planning a project and know you will need footage from a location along their route? Let them know and they’ll try to fit it in. After all, footage is great to have but only if it can be used. Contact Carol Martin (firstname.lastname@example.org) at FootageBank for more information — and tell her Markee says “Have a good trip.”
